If you have a desire to help others and work with those who need assistance in their day to day tasks, becoming a Home Health Aide may be the path for you.

Home Health Aides work with patients to assist in day to day tasks as well as monitor their physical and mental conditions. Some of the tasks that may be required include: observing and recording the physical and mental condition of the patient, providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming, shopping for food, laundering clothes and linens, and serving meals.

In addition, a Home Health Aide may teach a patient how to use their assistive equipment, such as a wheelchair or cane.

Upon completion of this program, you will receive a diploma, which allows you to work as a Home Health Aide professional.
